Checking Chromecast and Android Chrome Versions

If the Juuno Player is not working on your device, you may need to check:

1. Your Chromecast version

2. Your Android Chrome / WebView version

Both must meet the minimum requirements for the player to run properly.

1. Check Your Chromecast Version

Some older Chromecast devices are not supported.

Supported Chromecast Devices

Juuno supports the following Chromecast models:

• Chromecast Ultra

• Chromecast 3rd Generation

• Chromecast with Google TV (4th Generation)

Older models such as Chromecast 1st Gen and 2nd Gen are not supported.

How to Check Your Chromecast Model

You can find your Chromecast model using one of these methods:

Option 1: Check the device packaging

Look for labels such as:

• “Chromecast with Google TV”

• “Chromecast Built-in”

• Android TV 9 or higher

Option 2: Check your TV settings

1. Open Settings on your TV.

2. Go to About.

3. Locate the Model Number.

You can search the model number online to confirm the Chromecast version.

2. Check Your Android Chrome / WebView Version

Juuno Player requires Chromium version 93 or higher.

Devices running older browser versions may not support the features required by the player.

Typical Chrome Versions by Android OS

Note: These are the default Chrome versions shipped with each Android release. Devices can often update Chrome and WebView through the Play Store.

Update Chrome or WebView

If your version is below the requirement:

1. Open the Google Play Store

2. Search for Google Chrome

3. Tap Update

4. Search for Android System WebView

5. Tap Update

Updating these components may resolve compatibility issues.
