Basic Troubleshooting for connecting to a TV

Troubleshooting can vary depending on the specific issue you're facing and the type of Device or TV you have. Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you can follow to diagnose and resolve the problem:

Check Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your Device or TV is connected to the internet, Juuno requires an active internet connection.

Restart the TV:

  •  Sometimes, a simple restart can fix minor issues. Turn off your TV, unplug it from the power source, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for TV Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure that your TV's firmware is up to date. Manufacturers often release updates that can enhance app compatibility and resolve issues. Unfortunately, very old firmware versions may not be supported. For instance, if you are currently on Tizen v2 (which is quite outdated), the latest version is Tizen 8. Therefore, you should update your firmware first before attempting to use the app. You can check your TV's firmware by going to your TV settings or visiting www.whatismybrowser.com on your TV.

Disconnect the Screen and reconnect it back:

Option 1 - You have two options for disconnecting the screen. You can either delete the screen from your Screens page,

Option 2 - OR within your Digital Display, click on the monitor icon to open the debug panel and select 'Disconnect this screen'. Reconnect: Then reconnect it back from your Screens page
