Canva v2
Since the Canva Button API is officially being retired, we’re happy to share that we now support the Canva Connect API.

It works very similarly to our Canva legacy app, with the added benefit that you can now design directly within Canva itself. Here’s a quick breakdown of the differences.
Canva V1 (Legacy App):
- Design changes or designs created through the Juuno's Canva app won’t sync back to Canva, as Canva (itself) creates a separate copy of the design within the app.
- Only supports image.
- Doesn't support animations, transitions and audio.
- Few minor hiccups when accessing shared existing Canva designs.
Canva V2 (Latest App):
- Designs are synced within your Canva account or team.
- Animations, transitions, and audio used in your Canva designs are supported and preserved.
- Most Canva design types are now supported, with the exception of document-type designs such as Canva spreadsheets and multi-page documents.
- Hiccups with accessing shared Canva designs or projects will be resolved as you will be doing the design within Canva website.
Any previous or existing designs created using the Canva Legacy App will be preserved. So even once the Canva Button API is officially shut down, those designs won’t be affected—you just won’t be able to create new designs or update those using Canva v1 or Canva Legacy App.
🚨 An important note regarding the current limitation of Canva v2: Canva v2 only supports one integration per account, which means you can only connect one Canva account at a time. So If you have multiple teammates on your account, they’ll need to use the same Canva account that's integrated/connected with your Juuno account when creating or editing designs.
