GDrive App Limitations

At this stage, GDrive app only supports certain file formats. To make sure your uploaded files are recognized, please stick to the supported types listed below. Unsupported files may not play or appear at all.

✅ Supported Video Formats

  • MP4
  • MOV
  • WEBM
  • OGG

⚠️ Not Supported: AVI, MKV, MPEG, FLV

✅ Supported Image Formats

  • JPG / JPEG
  • PNG
  • GIF
  • WebP
  • HEIC

Few important notes:

  • GDrive app can only display up to 10 video files per folder — specifically, the 10 most recently uploaded videos in the folder. On the other hand, there’s no limit to the number of images.
  • Videos do not currently play with sound.
  • The entered Google Drive URL must be publicly accessible (i.e., anyone with the link can view it)
  • For faster processing, we recommend uploading properly sized and optimized media. Ideally, keep files below 1GB.
